The Kom-Kom Miracle multipurpose zigzag slicer is a unique kitchen gadget from Thailand that has several useful features:

• A zig-zig style cutting blade, similar to the one on the 218 Kiwi Brand Pro Slicer, which can be rotated to different positions for your convenience. This blade can be used for shredding vegetables into long thin julienne strips, in a similar way to a mandolin slicer.
• The handle corer can be used to remove the cores from soft fruits like cucumbers.
• A plastic scoring blade that can help with peeling citrus fruit.
• A special V shaped plastic blade that can carve zigzag patterns in soft fruit like tomatoes or cucumbers when preparing decorative salads.

The Kom-Kom Miracle multipurpose zigzag slicer is especially useful for preparing green papaya salad or vegetables for spring rolls.  It can be used to shred potatoes for home-made rosti or carrots and cabbage for coleslaw or remoulade. We like to use ours for making a delicious kohlrabi or celeriac remoulade.
