5" Utility Knife Wood Handle

791 - Kom-Kom five inch utility knife with a wooden handle.

Utility knives are the perfect tool for a wide range of jobs from prepping vegetables to slicing sandwiches, chopping apples and other fruits to cutting hard cheeses and cold meats.

The blade is made from a high grade Japanese high carbon martensitic stainless steel (SUS 420J2) which has been hardened and tempered for sharpness. This knife has a razor sharp, double bevelled cutting edge and it has a high quality hardwood handle which is secured with brass rivets.

As the handle wood is untreated, it will benefit from the occasional application of a food grade oil to maintain the health of the wood, avoiding shrinkage and keeping the handle looking like new.  See the "knife care" tab for details.
