An all-purpose chef's 8" chef's knife with a razor sharp blade, this knife is lightweight and well balanced.  The 288kk Kiwi knife is the perfect choice for all your slicing, chopping, dicing, mincing jobs.  The 1mm thin blade slices through even the toughest vegetables with ease.

The blade is made from Japanese high carbon martensitic stainless steel (SUS402J2) which has been hardened and tempered for sharpness. The attractive and ergonomic handle is made from ironwood and is secured with brass rivets.

The Kiwi Brand 288 is also available and is almost identical to this knife but it does not have the higher level of finish.
